Update from Guam
F-15, F-16, F-18, F-22 and F-35, B1 and B2 have been in the air often over Guam the past two weeks. The Pacific Joint Base is on alert.
Everything happening with China, Taiwan and North Korea is taken very seriously by Joint Region Marianas. A huge uptick in daily sorties from Anderson AFB has everyone on the island aware of the readiness activities on the island. Balloons and UFOs are no joke here.
It has been quite busy at the station with several projects underway. Linda has been able to be here, but is heading home tomorrow, Feb 16. Darin has completed reverse engineering all 4 slew systems and has delivered schematics for each.
Transmitter 5 has had problems for many months and has not achieved its designed output power during that time. With Steve Brunson and Mike Lambert, we replaced the driver tube and the big Power Amp tube, achieving 100,000 watts, but troubles persist requiring even more work in progress – prayers requested for a solution.
