Made plans to move rear wall of transmitter hall to accommodate three new transmitters in the next three years. Volunteer workman being sought. –
Performed emergency repair to transmitter 7, replaced water-cooled capacitor. –
Celebrated Carol Whittun’s 30 years of service to Trans World Radio. –
Participated in aerial repair of Antenna #1 after a feeder arc. –
During repair, prayer warriors kept us safe and protected us from Tropical Storm 16W for the four days it took to complete the repair. –
Created six proof-of-concept programs in the Tamil language using Artificial Intelligence. Engineers in Sri Lanka will now produce weekly programming in Tamil, which was not a language being broadcast before. –
Met with Banner Enterprise – one of the bidding tower restoration contractors. –
Designed a Guam-specific duplex residence for on-site housing for the station. –
Found used pulleys ideal for the tower restoration, disassembled them to be shipped to Hawaii for re-galvanizing. Saved about $80,000. –
Began discussions to expand the broadcasts of Dr, Cecy’s programs through Air JARON. –
Commissioned new servo control of broadcast transmitter tuning. –
Performed more transmitter repairs.
